You may have heard something about all of us Stanford students working hand-in-hand with the Mozilla folks to help spread theword about the best browser out there – Firefox.

You GET
Firefox. You know why it’s the best darn browser out there, and you
probably wouldn’t want to use anything else to access the Internet.

Although
Firefox is the obvious choice for you, there are millions of folks out
there who don’t realize that the browser matters or even, what a web
browser is. In fact, many people that we spoke with thought that
GOOGLE was their web browser.

So, we decided to create a message they would understand:

If you want to google better, use Firefox for Internet. It’s just that simple.

We’d like to ask your help. Your mission, unless you love interweb explorer:

Step 1. Download this image,
print out copies until you run out of ink (or as many as you’d like),
and cut out the GoogleBetter.org bookmarks. Feel free to customize the back with a personal message to all those poor interweb explorer usersout there.

Step 2. Head to your local bookstore, library,
magazine stand, etc. and slip a bookmark into every computer/internet troubleshooting book/magazine in sight.

Step 3. How covert
and creative can you get? Be sure to come back to this thread and post your tag count and location. Who’s going to be the one to infiltrate the evil empire in Redmond?

There are six student groups that are working, as part of a class at the Stanford University Design School, to test ideas on promoting Firefox to mainstream web users.

This is a really cool initiative, and one that we are fully supporting here at Mozilla. Asa Dotzler and John Lilly from Mozilla spent time briefing the class a couple of weeks ago, and I've also given feedback to the instructors on their plan for structuring the class project around Firefox.

The class is entitled "Creating Infectious Action". You can learn more about the Firefox class project, and see links to the ideas the students came up with at the blog of Professor Diego Rodriguez. We're excited to see the results of the student's creative approaches to spreading Firefox.

Reporters Without Borders have made available a Handbook for bloggers and cyber-dissidents. It seems, unfortunately, to be an important tool for bloggers in many countries and circumstances.

ma non perché mi frega del codice. Io le guardo, le ammiro poi le uso e le annuso. e sempre sul Doodler, qui è possibile scaricare e tenere con cura, lontano dai cattivi odori, i suoi loghi e altre immagini riguardo al Doodle4Google.

Alcune sono belle pesanti, e le più leggere? la sua e il logo delle Olimpiadi di Torino… vorra pur dir qualcosa.
